Madison, WI 2010. Probably not the first place you think of if you're thinking World anything. But for the 3 days beginning this Thursday, Madison will be hosting artists from around the world, including musicians from Mexico, Romania, Kenya, Mali Kyrgyzstan, Corsica and more!
Thursday 9/23 and Friday 9/24 performances are scheduled at the UW Memorial Union Terrace. Saturday, 9/25 the venue moves to the Willy Street Fair.
What kind of music do world musicians play, you ask? Anything from high energy pop music, to quieter, more traditional world music, modern and folky traidional music.
